All of the Mid Century . Modern Design home plans will require a licensed structural engineer in your region to draw the structurally engineered plans that adhere to seismic and structural requirements for your region. If you are unsure about your municipality’s structural requirements your local building department should be able to provide you with that information.
It is possible that your municipality has specific energy code requirements. If you need assistance, contact your local building department for information.
Most all jurisdictions will require building setbacks on your particular site. If you’re unsure where to find your required setbacks, your builder or architect can assist in figuring that out and adjusting the home plans as required.
Every building site is unique. Additional planning and home design might need to be considered to fit on your particular site.
Most jurisdictions require a licensed contractor or architect in your state to stamp the set of drawings before a building permit can be issued. If this is the case, your Mid Century . Modern Design home plans will need to be reviewed and stamped by a contractor or architect licensed in your state.
